We would like to thank gallery artist Moira Ness for joining us on the second Picton Art Crawl to showcase some of her latest work from the Maladaptations series. This series of minimalist text-based paintings are achieved by Moira data-mining her own personal archive to create confessional and romanticized text – through the use of a word sorting algorithm. These raw and stark images ask the viewer to dig into the archive of their own memories.
