LORI MIRABELLI

Lori Mirabelli is originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Despite a full-time career, she continued to pursue her love of art and abstract painting. In 2009, Lori relocated to southern Ontario to focus on her art career – which she has been avidly pursuing ever since.

She works primarily in acrylic on canvas and mixed media on wood. Her work is comprised of bold lines and strong colour-forms, working in harmony with her definition of space. Lori’s art is created by adding layer after layer – covering up some areas, then carving and scraping into the work to reveal hidden surfaces in other sections. Each layer adds history and depth to her work.

Lori has exhibited extensively since 2014, including solo and group shows. Her paintings can be found in private collections across Canada, the United States, Spain, Australia, China, United Kingdom, Germany, and Japan.
